How did Mysmalldesign get involved with Mysmallhelp?
We’re all good friends and believe in utilising our skills and talents to help underprivileged and disadvantaged young children to create a more sustainable and hopeful future for themselves. See www.mysmallhelp.org for a fuller picture of what the charity does.
What if I’m not happy with my site?
Any honest designer will tell you that it happens from time to time but at Mysmalldesign we are in constant contact with you to ensure that you will be happy with the final product. We work on a stage system so that you can sign off on colours, logos, number of pages etc as we go.
I know that there is a lot of power cuts (load shedding in Nepal) so how can you run a company like this?
We are fully aware of the challenges but part of what we are doing is setting an example to the younger generation; if you want to run a professional company then it’s possible. We have a generator back-up system so we have what we need.
I don’t really know how I want my site to look so what do I do?
Talk to Sita. She will discuss your company, do some research on what other companies like yours offer, and then together you can pool some ideas until you have a clear idea.
I don’t speak Nepali!
We all speak English at Mysmalldesign, and we talk to each other in computer language so you don’t have to.
Mysmalldesign is based in Nepal and I’m in another country, isn’t it difficult for us to work together?
Most of our communication is likely to be online or on the telephone anyway so there is no reason for distance to be an issue. Nepal is 5.45 hours ahead of GMT (no daylight saving here) but we work to suit your needs.
